(Psalms 84:11) For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

If you want to ascend to any level of influence you must learn that Heaven’s currency and favor is based on honor.

The amount of honor you show motivated by a good heart will be directly related to the amount of God’s favor that you receive.

(Isaiah 58:12) Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings (homes).

Luke 7:36-50

The woman who wasn’t supposed to be there changed everything!

She came and poured her honor on Jesus and received favor in return!

(Luke 7: 44-48) Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

(Mark 6:4) “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.”

Familiarity Breeds Contempt
