PRESCHOOL: Worship Only God

Jennifer DoyleParent BlogLeave a Comment

Today’s lesson was about the Story of the Israelites deciding to worship a golden calf while Moses was on the mountain with God, receiving the 10 commandments. We emphasized that God is the one who created everything, and we should worship Him alone.

Ask your child about getting to help their teacher tell the story by molding the props with Play-Doh. They really loved being creative in this way and being big helpers. We talked about different times of the day when we can worship God, and how it doesn’t just have to be at church, but it can be in the car, at home, at school, etc.

We encourage you to help remind them of different ways and times they can worship God, because if we are actively worshiping God throughout our day, we will less likely make choices to worship other things. Our mind is set on things above and glorifying God with our life will be our one ambition.
