On Sunday, your child learned about how Jesus fed thousands of people! This story is found in John 6:1-15. We focused on the power of prayer and how we can pray to God in any given moment, knowing that He loves to hear our prayers and is ready to listen.

As you know,  preschool-age children have started to become independent, but they’re still extremely reliant on their parents and other adults to meet their needs. Preschoolers know who will always meet their needs based on what they experience. We used this lesson to help your child learn that they can always trust God to meet their needs. We encourage you to talk about different needs they can trust God with, and then pray with them about these needs.
