This week your child learned about Elijah challenging the prophets of Baal in 1 Kings 18. The people realized that God is the one true God when He set fire to the wet altar as Elijah prayed to Him. We talked about different ways that we can serve God with our life.

Today was the start of our new memory verse for the month of November. We encourage you to practice it with them to help them learn it.  In class, we have been emphasizing how important the Bible is and how it is the most important book in the whole world!
