Today we learned about David’s son, Absalom and how he wanted to be King, instead of his Father. We talked about how we have the choice to be selfish or not. If we choose to be selfish, we will hurt others and may lose friends. God doesn’t want us to be selfish … instead he wants us to be kind and generous.

We encourage you to talk to your child about different examples in which he can choose to be kind and generous, rather than selfish. Check out the craft they made in class! We exercised being kindness and sharing while we completed it!
