Today your child learned about Elijah getting to hear the voice of the Lord on a mountain. We talked about how we are able to talk to God anytime that we want. He can hear us in the car, at McDonald’s, in the middle of the night, etc., so we can pray to Him whenever we want.  Ask them about their coloring sheet and the different things that Elijah heard on the mountain before He heard the Lord’s voice. They had fun shaking their page for the earthquake, drawing wind marks, and taping on fire pieces. This was the 2nd week for our memory verse, so they are starting to remember the motions and can probably do them for you!
