There were 3 young men in the Bible who chose to do what was right and faced ridicule and punishment. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were captives in the Babylon kingdom who were expected to worship a golden statue or face being thrown into a fire. They chose to worship only God and they had to endure the punishment … but they trusted that God was with them. As a matter of fact, God, Himself accompanied them in the fire and they lived through the punishment that was meant to end them. Sunday, we did our best to help your child understand that they can trust God and His Word even when they are facing trials, temptations and difficult situations!
