Children need to know that the world will not always be a fair place to live — people are going to treat us wrong, cheat us and even hurt us from time to time. The story of Joseph and his coat of many colors is a great example of a young man who faced many trials in life. But, in the end, God had raised him up to be a very important person in the land where he lived.
God can do that for anyone who is willing to trust in Him. Take this time to talk with your child about trusting God even when the times around us are difficult.
