Sunday, we started a new series called: “Back to School Bash”. We focused on our thoughts – we taught the children to choose what they allow themselves to think about.  We talked about how we cannot avoid thoughts coming into our minds – but it is our choice as to what thoughts we allow to stay and which ones we take captive and make obedient to the Word of God. Encourage your child this week to think the thoughts that Jesus would think: about others, about school, about their new teachers and about schoolwork that needs to get done.
