Sunday we learned all about a prophet named Elijah. Elijah had a major show-down between himself and 450 false prophets of a false god. The true God answered Elijah by sending fire after the 450 others waited for hours for their fake god to answer. This famous contest was held to prove that we need to choose who we are going to serve. Your child learned that they have to make the choice about serving God, for themselves.
