(Isaiah 9.6) For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

(Luke 2.8-9) And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them….

–> God’s modus operandi: the everyday is visited by the supernatural.

(Genesis 4.4-5) But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.

–> He is Mighty God! His timing is perfect!

(Luke 2.10-12) But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

–> What we need and what we want from God are sometimes two different things.

There are two major factors that compel us to engage with China in our missions offering this month:

1. Increasing persecution.

2. Lost and unreached people.

Business as Mission (BAM)

1. VISAs

2. DAILY contact

3. Sustainability

4. Can be duplicated

–> God sees the end from the beginning.

(Revelation 3.7-8) “…These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.”

–> No closed door stops Jesus! He is the irreversible MIGHTY God.

–> We serve the Mighty, door-breaking God!
