We all know that moms are loving, giving, nurturing, and on call 24/7. You take excellent care of your family, but who takes care of YOU? When do YOU find time to relax, unwind, and recharge? The answer is MOPS & MOMSnext at River City Church! Our group is designed for moms (and led by moms!) whose sole purpose is to “do life” with fellow mamas!
When are the meetings?
RCC MOPS and MOMSnext meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings of each month (September through May) from 6:30-8:30 PM. We meet at River City Church in Lafayette, IN. Our first meeting for the 2018-2019 year is September 12th.
What is the difference between MOPS and MOMSnext?
MOPS is mothers of preschoolers and is designed for moms with at least one child in Kindergarten or younger (including moms pregnant, adopting, or fostering).
MOMSNext is geared towards mothers of school-aged children and moms must have at least one child in Kindergarten or older.
Is there childcare?
Yes! MOPSKids is our children’s program for kids ages birth-5 years old. Kids in kindergarten-5th grade will attend River City Kids. And 6th-12th graders will participate in River City Students.
How much does it cost?
The membership dues for RCC MOPS and MOMSnext is $100.00 per person. These dues help cover the costs of our dynamic speakers, creative activities, and dinner supplies. The dues also include the MOPS International membership fee of $32.00 (check out www.mops.org for more info regarding what is included with the MOPS International membership!).
The fee breakdown is: $32.00 registration fee due at time of registration, $34.00 for 1st Semester (due 9/21/18), and $34.00 for 2nd Semester (due 1/4/19). Regardless of which payment option you choose, the $32.00 Registration Fee is due when the registration form is submitted. (Please note that the 1st and 2nd semester fees may be prorated if you join the group mid-year.)
Option 1 (1 Installment): $100.00 due at registration
Option 2 (2 Installments): $66.00 due at registration, & $34.00 due 1/4/19.
Option 3 (3 Installments): $32.00 due at registration, $34.00 due 9/21/18, & $34.00 due 1/4/19.

How do I join?
To join our groups, you will need to fill out the registration form and submit your payment. We offer an online registration form and can also accept payments online. If you’d rather, you may print the registration form and mail it with a check to the RCC main office. Checks should be made payable to RCC with ‘MOPS’ in the memo. (Your spot is not held until both the registration form and payment have been submitted.)
