WE CAN’T WAIT TO MEET YOU
Plan Your Visit Now
We would love to meet you sometime soon! In the meantime, check out the video below. Any questions you may have about River City Church should be answered below. Thanks again for stopping by. We hope to see you soon!
WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES LIKE?
Each weekend at River City Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. You’ll also find a printed outline for notes in your worship guide that will help you make the most of each week’s teaching. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun-filled services.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICES?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because RCC is not about what you look like or what you wear.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
River City Church in Lafayette is located at 108 Beck Ln, Lafayette IN. (Click Here for Directions)
DO YOU HAVE A MIDWEEK SERVICE?
We focus on small groups (called “Life Groups”) during the week at River City; however, on the first Wednesday of each month, we do have a Prayer & Worship service in the sanctuary. On other Wednesday nights you will find many Life Groups meeting in the building. Unless Life Groups are taking a break (usually December-January, May & August), you will also find early childcare classes and special small groups for kids & teens in the building on Wednesdays.
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
At RCC your children are a top priority. Our nurseries are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children’s ministry called River City Kids as well as life-changing ministry to students from junior high through high school. The main youth meeting is on Sunday nights at 6 pm, with smaller classes on Sunday morning during the first service. Kids meet Sunday morning during both services with small groups on Wednesdays as described above.
HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?
There are many ways to get involved. Life Groups is the best way to connect to people at River City Church. You can connect more deeply with the church by attending Growth Track the first four Sundays of each month. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.
HOW CAN I BE DISCIPLED AND GROW?
Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Life Groups are designed for relational connection and ongoing spiritual growth. Growth Track focuses on discovering your purpose and making a difference. Growth Track is a four-week experience, but you can begin the process at any step.
WHY DO YOU HAVE LIFE GROUPS?
Life groups are an important part of RCC; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our life groups. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God. As RCC grows, groups allow us to “stay small” and connected. Groups are available for all ages and interests—there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you. Learn more about why we’re big on life groups, or find a group to visit in our directory. (Click Here to search our Directory)
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN A LIFE GROUP?
One of the easiest things to do at RCC is to participate in a life group. Groups meet throughout Lafayette and surrounding communities and provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Wherever you live, there’s a life group near you. Check out our online directory and visit a group this week.
